Like I said, not too may people out there this morning and the waves are certainly small, but the conditions (weather) were very nice!
Although this amigo looks like he knows what he’s doing, these are the best days to get out there if you’re a beginner!
These two rippers surf in any kind of waves from 2 feet all the way up to anything this beach break can throw at them.
This might have been the biggest set the entire morning. But it’s a lot bigger than it looks since this guy is HUGE, like a round 6’8”.
Looking for barrels today was like looking for Waldo, hard to find, but if you find em, they could be pretty fun.
Little A-Frame teepee’s all over, a gremmies paradise.
This gremmie loves to surf no matter the wave size, weather, winds, or crowd. Looks like today he’s batting 3 out of 4.
I can’t confirm, but I’m going to guess these amigos read the surf report daily, because they must have seen my sequence the other day that I posted where Carlos and Kevin were having a good time sharing a wave.
See, here’s where editing comes into play with surfing photos. I could easily make it look like the sponger dropped in on the surfer.
But by showing a few shots prior, it’s very evident that the surfer burned the BB’er. But in the end, they’re both having a laughing good time, so it really doesn’t matter.
Ok, I sit corrected, maybe this was the biggest set wave.
Maycol, always working on his surfing.
Here he’s working on his laybacks.
Close little buddy… so close! Form is good, just remember to always keep centered over that stringer and you’ll have these down in your sleep!
Makable, most likely. But we’ll never know.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Happy Monday everyone, this is Baldo reporting from Santana beach. All morning the wind was offshore and the waves were pumping but as soon as I decided to take the camera around 1 pm the wind changed and screwed everything.
