Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, June 07, 2009

Hi everybody, we are Lucha Libre and Come Pan Panic bringing you all the action for the Sunday surf report.  Today we headed up north to meet a group of pro surfers from Canada.  We are so stoked Nicaragua is getting recognized for the world like one of the better countries to surf.  The last few days CJ Hobgood and his buddies were ripping it up and today these guys from RIPZONE did they thing as well.  The waves were super fun running about chest to head high with light offshore winds and it was overcastted but the weather didn’t stop us and we made it out anyway.  Check it out!!!

This is Shannon from Australia busting a sick air in front of the cameras.  He was so stoked to surf this spot because the waves were super fun and ripable.

Here we have Sam “El Coyotito” from Cal with a killer hack.  This guy was destroying every single wave he took today.  It is nice to see good surfers out there surfing GOOD WAVES!!!

How about our new friend Ryan “EL Patotas” from Tofino getting some speed to get shacked on this left.  He was making through some fast section like this one.  It looks like he would have a pair of turbines on the tail of his board because he is super fast.

There were a few other guys out taking plenty of fun waves all day long.  Here we have shot of this unknown rider dropping into a nice one.

Another unknown rider but now bottom turning it!!!

And now with a nice turn.  It is nice to be out there when everybody is tranquilo and share the waves.  That’s how we gotta do it boys!!!

We still had a few sick waves rolling through with nobody on them.  Check out this sick one coming in by itself.  What a shame!!!

There were some rippers out beside the RIPZONE crew with a cool show.  Check out this killer sequence of this unknown surfer.

This guy was makin’ some sick turn today.  Would you like to make a few turn like this one?  You gotta practice a lot.

On the last surfing shot of the day we have Shannon now getting shacked.  Al right boys, the swell is supposed to be dropping a little bit tomorrow and we are guessing that the winds will turn onshore, at least that is what the forecast is saying but we never know.

Nothing better like a sweet sunset to finish the day!!!
