Tony Zacharek

Stormy Monday trend continues. We had a solid amount of rain over night. Also the winds seemed to have lightened up a bit too. @tonyzphotos reporting today.

Here we have a few early morning beach goers checking out the widening and additional water outflow at the estuary from the storm last night.

And we had a lone surfer in the water picking off a few fun looking waves.

He pulled off a nice snap off the top on this one.

Loaded up nicely off the bottom and initiating a good line.

Here he his again on the second wave I saw with him. he took this one all the way to beach.

Powering midway through it.

And executing a nice release. Well done. I think he will be exciting to watch when the conditions clean up.

I took a ride up to the other end of the beach after hearing the river blew out on that end. You can see the brown and blue water lines meeting up in the middle of the photo.

Lot's of debris coming out this end of the beach. The reports are claiming we might get a little offshore wind midday. I hope they're right. Watch out for logs and other things. See you in the morning.
