I came to the beach in the late afternoon and I heard everyone saying that it’s been good all day, of course, with some better windows here and there but overall great day of barrels.

Big barrels everywhere! The sets were powerful and sometimes (most of the time) scary but there were plenty of surfers capable and ready to go for them.

As always, there were many barrel dodgers that couldn’t or didn’t want to make it inside those things.

Where there are big waves there will be big wipeouts, and Colorado will never be the exemption.

Also, where there is a crowd, there will be some nasty drop-ins… it sucks and it shouldn’t happen.

The girl power was strong today, there were several women charging non-stop!

Maybe they were not going for the big bombs (as always, smarter than most of the men) but they were out there picking the right ones without eating sh*t as most of the men.

Today is Father’s Day here in Nicaragua! It’s always great to see parents pushing and sharing waves with their kids!

NSR has been always committed to help and support the community, and this time we would like to share this great initiative fromTola International School, the only Bilingual School in the area that is trying to raise money tobuy land where they can build a proper school for the future. Please, donate whatever you can or at least share it with your friends, family, coworkers and clients, it’s a great cause!

Back to the waves… big, fast, scary and full of adrenaline waves!

So many barrels, insane afternoon, insane day, insane week, insane month! 2021 has been incredible so far!

Actually, it’s been amazing the last few months with so many unbelievable swells hitting back to back, non-stop!

All the local rippers have been showing off their talents to all the tourists with their photographers… hopefully one of them will find some kind of sponsorship, it would be awesome!

I hope you enjoyed today’s surf report as you probably have been doing the last few days, actually, the last few years, since 2005! Cheers!

Hello, and welcome to your Tuesday surf report. Today welcomed a bit of new swell, but with it also delivered a bit of complicated conditions (and for me) a bit of a conundrum of timing today, as it was periodical of timing. Carlos, pictured here, was the only one to paddle out at 5PM. Click..
