Bryan on a nice right peeling off during the tide push, with the full moon we are getting some large tide swings.

Manny was one of the first guys I saw out this morning and he scored some nice waves.

Nacho on the high line speeding his way down the face, the waves were a bit stretched out this morning which meant you had to be fast to make them.

I decided to roll down and check out the other side of the beach and caught Chris on a nice sized Panga wave as Alberto scopes the scene on his SUP.

Not sure who this charger is but Panga looked like it had some bombs coming in.

One more spot check down at this special right point break that turns on from time to time, I only spent 15-20 minutes checking the spot and found Dario on a fun looking right.

Back at Colorado and we have a mystery barrel surfer of the day. Let’s just say this one was caliente.

Kippa hitting the lip and then making the air drop re-entry.

Kevin slashing the face on this little corner.

Carl is one of the few guys here that will charge on any conditions and doesn’t let too many opportunities pass. Here he is seizing the day on this fourth of July.

Josh is another one of those guys that always makes it look fun out front. Here he displays his signature pig dog stance hitting the gas hard.

Jackson is one of the locals that surfs with so much power and speed he’s like an American muscle car if American muscle cars were actually Nicaraguan lol

Mateo has been here long enough that he is basically a native Nicaraguan at this point, and the time spent surfing this wave shows the way he handles it in any and all conditions.

Happy 4th of July everybody!! I figured I’d leave the finale fireworks for the end, Jackson getting spit out of the best wave of the morning. Time for some beers and BBQ, hopefully the size stays and the conditions clean up for tomorrow’s session. Everybody be safe on this U.S.A. Independence day, don’t drink and drive. Have fun and check back tomorrow for some quality surf content like always from beautiful Nicaragua.
RECENT REPORTS

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
