Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi everybody this is Jairo “Come Pan” and Mateo “Pledge”, bringing to you the Sunday surf report from Maderas . This morning the waves were disorganized and running about chest to shoulder high on sets with a light offshore wind. It was also overcast and the water was warm. Check it out.
Here we have Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro who has been surfing pretty well the past few days. Here he is boosting pretty high off a nice launch pad.
We caught Luis “La Baloy” Chamorro in action in the water today with a sick maneuver. He was surfing really hard today because he wants to maintain his title as one of the best surfers in Nicaragua.
This is Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila with a nice snap on a fun looking left. This guy was so stoked today because he was with his best friend Ricardito “El Maduro” Morales taking some fun waves out there.
We want to give a special shout out to our friend Ricardo “EL Maduro” Morales who was the first president of the national surf circuit down here. He has always been a big supporter of the surf contests and all the young local surfers here in Nicaragua. Unfortunately he is only going to be down here for the weekend, but we know we are still going to have a great time. This morning he was out there trying to get some water shots. Welcome to town buddy!
Angelo “La Rosita” Ramos was out there getting some fun waves as well. Here he is with a nice bottom turn on a good sized left. By the way this water shot was taking by Nicafotomaduro.com!
Here we have a lady representing all the girls in the water today. This girl was catching some good ones and surfing hard because she was the only women out there. Here she goes riding a pretty nice right.
For the last shot we have a nice under water photo by Ricardo “EL Maduro” Morales. The waves should be about the same size tomorrow, hopefully the wind is more directly offshore. Please check back tomorrow.

We’ve got another great day of surf here in Nicaragua. We’ve got overhead sets and the winds have been offshore all day. Today was Hot Carl’s and Zacateca’s last full day in Nicaragua, so we took a drive out to 4748’s to catch some waves. Check it out.
