PLAYA COLORADO
Flying high into the big fight weekend today, a little bit of rain didn’t stop the chargers from heading out and filling the wave quota today. Come check out some of the rainy day shots from today’s surf report.
So there were some big sets still rolling through today and although at times it was a little wait between the sets it was totally worth it when they came.
Here is Chase you is enjoying his stay with us here and with waves like these it is easy to see why.
Dudes were coming out of the tubers with plenty of speed to smack the lip.
Exhibit A: This dude has been shredding up faces and weaving through some deep barrels with ease.
There were some gusts of winds but overall it was pretty clean conditions and super fun waves.
It kinda looks like tv back in the day when you would see the picture a little snowy looking, thta was when the rain was coming down pretty hard.
It was not too crowded out there either with maybe 15 guys out during the 10:30am-12:30pm mid tide window today.
Plenty of ramps out there too looking like a water X-games.
Shuv-it where the sun don’t shine lol not much sun shining today with the thick cloud cover of rain clouds, this may be one of the only days that stayed rainy all day so far in this rainy season.
There was plenty of fire waves out there though to keep it heated up.
Okay one more wave from the helmet dude who if I had to pick a winner for the mid tide heat would have taken the prize today.
When you make the tube and then proceed to brutalize the remaining face of the wave like this that decision would be no surprise to anyone.
Super solid session out there for the guys that decided to paddle out. Looking forward to catching some sick waves and getting stoked out with your buddies you know where to come. We got you!!
