PLAYA COLORADO
Before getting to the surf report today we’d like to take a moment to honor the memory of Alberto Martinez a citizen of Puerto Rico and recent visitor to Nicaragua. Alberto passed away this weekend while on vacation here in the community. Our sincere condolences go out to his family and friends who are greiving the loss of a good father, husband, son and friend. When tragedy like this strikes we are reminded that life is short, to make the most of it, and most especially take joy and comfort in the strong, supportive relationships we are blessed with.
Surf was shoulder high with some occasionally bigger sets. Winds were breezy offshore and water temps quite warm.
Here is one of the good turn of today. Check how friendly are the waves.
Is a sunny day, so the people is enjoying the sun and walking on the beach, watching the good surfers ripping this waves. Here is the north peak working small but strong.
There are girls paddling out everyday charging good waves. After a Yoga session in the morning this girls are ready for five hours of surf.
Here is Kevin Cortez with a up the lip. When you see this surfer in the water put attention to his waves because he always make some cool trick almost in every wave.
Here is Chocoyo with his power trick. He know the girl was looking him so he put some pepper in this trick for get her attention. Bandido!!!!!
Well, Chocoyo know how make this trick really well. We need to see you making airs Bro!!!!…
The high tide was good today. The waves not have to much power, but have this fun section.
Boat trips usually begin from beyond the break. This panga captain decided to make his pick up from shore and had to negotiate the waves on his wave out.
One of the few lefts today. This left it is breaking in the channel were usually break the big right of this beach break,so is really deep and the waves are soft.
Almost a barrel bro!!!!! Well friends. This tube doesn’t count but was the only one I saw.
The young surfers are making more colorful the back ground, with the nice colors on the surfboards. Going in airs or smashing waves.
A few longboard in the line up playing in the waves with classic style. Here is one toes on the nose.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were better by all measurable metrics today. It was still walled up and slow, but there were definitely some 10 pointers to be had.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.

Hola Amigos. This is the Sunday report. The waves today were a little bigger than yesterday with some fun corners. The wind has died down with a light offshore flow.
Super fun waves keeps rolling in and we are here to prove it. Head high waves, nice offshore winds and killer water temperature. Check out the lineup!
Aloha and welcome back to another daily report from NSR. The waves are tiny today and the water is thick with surfers from many different nations as we get closer to the start of the world masters surfing championship! We have some waist to chest high waves with a nice offshore wind and the water..
