Waves are small but everyone is getting excited here because in a couple of days this same place will have barrels after barrels breaking perfectly.
Lefts or rights, it’s your call, especially because there are no crowds so it’s pretty much up to you.
And talking about crowds… look at the reef, packed with local fishermen fishing with their handlines. Do you know that NSR offers Handline Fishing with a local? You get the handline as a souvenir!
This wave doesn’t look that small though, right?
Sadly, most of the waves looked more like this one.
In the afternoon I went again for more photos, this time I checked Colorado, which my first impression was that it was better than Santana in the morning.
The difference with Santana is that here the waves have a little more push.
You can get more speed which allows you to aim higher.
Another thing good about Colorado is that there are always spectators.
Including sneaky photographers everywhere capturing the surf and the beach life. Looks like tomorrow stays the same but the weekend will be good, stay tune!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Friday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The size and consistency actually declined today, contrary to what was forecasted. There were still a few corners to be had though. The wind was also light this evening.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
