As this wave shows, and this unknown surfer can testify, the rights were roomy and an enjoyable ride.

The lefts were less roomy but a little bit more friendly.

The “friendly” part didn’t apply to all of the waves though, every so often a big set came that brought meaty waves both ways.

And more often than we would liked to, a big wipe out (usually coming down over the falls) that made everybody on the beach make a single-sound comment about it like “uhhh!”, “ahhhh!”, “f*ck!”.

But the loudest “uhhh!”, “ahhh!”, and other words, were for all the surfers that made it out of big barrels!

Sadly, there were also a third kind of “uhhh!”, “ahhh!” and many other words, when somebody dropped in on a well-positioned surfer.

But, let’s focus on the good memories these guys will have after a nice day of surfing at Colorado.

Letting their frustations get washed away by the pounding waves.

After a couple of frustrated rides, this kid started to feel comfortable with the conditions.

Little by little, wave by wave, everybody started to look more relaxed and more confident.

Colorado was really good for around 2 hours… plenty of waves with many sections.

Even the kid started to have a blast!

If you visit our Report regularly, you’ve probably heard all the possible ways to describe a Colorado barrel so, I’m not going to say anything else.

Get ready for tomorrow’s surf report, I think it will be very good!Saludos!
