PLAYA COLORADO
It is finally Friday and for most that means a couple of days off por fin! Yeeeew! Here it is another day in paradise and a beautiful sunny day with warm water and cool waves. We are getting an occasional front runner from the swell that should be hitting tomorrow. Come take a peek and scope out some of what we’re scoring down here and what you can expect when you make it down yourselves.
Finley is always ripping and making my shots look good because he is the one putting in the work. Yeah dude!
Lucas is an amazing dude and a very talented artists in all medias and here he is doing some live art installation piece called “Smack the Lip”
You don’t need much runway when you can build up speed and launch like this dude, almost left me stumped for a caption.
There were some sneaky barrels too which tomorrow should look more like the awakened sleeping beauty that she is Playa Colorado.

Grab an Acai Bowl and a friend and watch some of the action from the shade under a palapa or take a nap in a hammock between sessions, down here you’re in Nica time.. where the enjoyment of life is the main priority.
Over in fornt of the river action where Rick and his homies were surfing there was a bit more size and it was a bit fast but you could see some of the gems that were on the horizon for the weekend.
Look at this dude’s face and you can clearly see the stoke exuding off of him. Not too many htings in life can get you to that place of flow where everything else seems to melt away and you’re just left with pure bliss.. Surf is most definitely one of them.
Another wave and another happy surfer doing the dance with the ocean, much like life.. the point of the wave is not to get to the end as fast as possible but rather to enjoy the ride.
Cranking that thing and whipping it around with ease this girl was tearing it up out there and putting on a show for those of us on the sand.
Talk about putting on a show this girl was charging waves like a pro and by the looks of it she’ll have an up close and personal shot from Mr. Rick.
This beach is just so consistent with fun waves and offshore winds it never ceases to amaze and it is so nice waking up in the morning and heading down to see what kind of presents the sea has brought for us again.
Looks like this guy just appeared through a portal.. nah that is just a sick spray off the snap but can you imagine a time traveling surfer just appearing on empty waves through a wormhole in space.. pretty gnarly bruh
Hit that lip that is the end of the work day on Friday and speed into the weekend like this guy who hit the lip and is speeding back into his line.
Nothing I enjoy more than sharing what I love with others and I love this place so I hope I can share it with you one day. If you’re here you know what I’m talking about, and if you’re looking to come pull the trigger and get down here it is like a summer camp or amusement park for adults.. and kids too. There is a vibe and an energy that will elevate your mind, body, and soul. Stay psyched on life and keep charging it! Hope to see you down here soon and share some waves. Hey everyone, welcome to a new week of great surfing here in Nicaragua. This new swell started to really filling in today, take a look.
