Today we went out with the camera to take many good photos of our friends from Brazil. From left to right we have Daniel Laufer, Eduardo Ottoboni and Gustavo Ravedutti, they paddled out there and had really fun.
On the first shot we have Daniel Laufer taking off on a nice looking left. These guys have been down here for a week but today was the perfect day, because they have a way to remember the trip for ever. Many killer photos!!!
This is Gustavo Ravedutti about to throw the lip off on this wave. He was kind of bummed because the waves weren’t that big, but there were still pretty fun.
How about our friend Eduardo Ottoboni going off the top on a fun looking wave with a great form. These guys were so happy because they scored ton of good waves today.
Olli was taking advantage on some of the bigger set waves today and was hitting up a few ones. Check him out with a sweet backside slash. Olli, originally from Denmark, has been down in Nicaragua developing the Golf condos inside Hacienda Iguana. It’s a killer project and worth checking out when you visit. As a “perk” of his career choice, he’s also become a pretty good surfer.
A couple of sick rights rolled in today and many of them weren’t taken. This one was taken for this unknown rider who would be happy to know that we have a sequence of his barrel on this wave. Here he is setting up for glory.
Always when everybody is excited to take some good waves you are taking the risk to have a painful wipe out. Today Carlito was the unlucky surfer out there.
Some other surfers wanted to stay out of the barrels and were flying all over the place. Here is this guy representing the flying birds today with a cool double air grab.
Matt “The Pledge” paddled out as well and got some sick shacks out there. He’s so stoke to surf with his father for this week before he get back to the US and start the college and then start crying for his girlfriend.
There is nothing more tired as take photos all day long and don’t drink any water. Today that was Lucha’s case and was getting real crazy. Don’t you believe us? Here is this shot as the proof.
RECENT REPORTS
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hi guys, a day after the contest it looks like all the local surfers in Santana took the day off and we only have unkwnon surfer out here today. It’s chest to head high on sets and the wind is offshore. Check it out.
Today’s report from Puerto Escondido brings more overhead waves and tired arms from surfing too much. This is a beach where a 7’0″ is considered your shortboard and nobody wears leashes – opting to swim to the beach after every “unmade” ride. They claim that it prevents the boards from breaking so much…hmmmmm. We’ll have..
