When I first got to the beach, I was shocked to see all the empty waves. I guess everybody was resting after breakfast?
But a few guys wanted to burn it off and get out there. This surfer got out at the perfect time!
It was still breezy today but the size was great. You gotta love our offshore winds!!
We had a lot of lefts working off the main peak. They kept coming in all morning!
Simon was out there again! As usual, he was pulling into some gems.
In case it snuck up on you, we only have about a month of summer left. That means you need to get down here ASAP! In fact, we have a chair in front of an amazing break waiting for you.
Our peak to the north was producing more good rights. It is a little smaller than our main peak; however, there is a great shape and nice line.
Walk 100 yards north to find a sweet frontside barrel! Yeww!
When the tide gets really low, please be careful chosing the waves you pull into! We’ve seen a bunch of broken boards over the past few days.
Because you’re going back to school shopping soon, I wanted to give you your first doodle of the school year! Or if you want your actual photos, email me at[email protected].
In case you haven’t heard, we are celebrating 10 years in business this Saturday at Mag Rock. You won’t want to miss out!! We are offering two roundtrip 18 passenger vans leaving from the NSR shop at 7 and 8pm. If you are driving yourself, please be responsible. It is time for Parker to get out and catch a few waves myself. I will see you on the dance floor Saturday night!!!
RECENT REPORTS
Merry Christmas everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. This evening’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops. Today definitely had its moments, but the windows were difficult to hit.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
We made it in the morning to check the surf and we finally found some real swell in the water. Lots of closed out waves but there were some corners to be taken as well. Solid over head waves on the bigger sets, winds were nice offshore, big rip currents and warm water. Check it..
Hello friends. This is Alex, the new intern at NSR and apprentice to the legendary Lucha Libre. The decreasing trend in swell has continued today with surf in the waist to chest high zone with the select few shoulder high standouts. Partially cloudy skies and light offshore winds provided some small clean corners. Check it..
