The waves were good but we had a nice rain right at mid tide and once the rain was gone the waves stayed kind of messy.

It was hard to find barrels with these conditions but it’s Colorado so, there’s always a chance no matter the conditions, or the tide, or the size, or the swell direction, or the wind direction!

When there are not so many barrels, then you go for the big walls and big sprays.

Jackson going for big, vertical turns at the most critical parts of every section of every wave.

Right after the rain the water was glassy but not for long beacuse of the wind picked up a little.

Everyone was having a great time with the cloudy afternoon and the soft waves.

The ladies were having such a great time that they even started to party together.

This guy knows what’s good for him… a NSR rented surfboard from the biggest surfboard rental quiver in the country!

Say hi to Paula, one of the few Uruguayans living in Nicaragua… can anyone guess why she picked Iguana as her permanent address?

Besides the amazing waves we all want to be inside of here at Colorado, what makes it really special is the tight community that lives inside Hacienda Iguana. You can feel it and experience it every afternoon at the beach club, come see it by yourself any time!

And of course, the possibility of surfing without crowds any random day makes it a top spot to live (or just visit).

Seems like there’s more waves coming starting tomorrow so, be like Paula… done with her session but already looking for the next set coming in the horizon. See you tomorrow with more Nica waves!
RECENT REPORTS

Hey amigos! Welcome to Saturday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The size of the waves dropped even more today, but it still had its moments.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Que onda mi gente?? Bri back with your Tuesday surf report. I’m gonna be upfront… today was a bit of one of those shockers… I mean it looked good from the beach, but between the lulls, inconsistency and straight up closeouts, after watching it for about 45 min to hour, I decided to go ahead..
