Some sets were still showing some size, but the waves were not as open as yesterday.

It was tricky to get a nice barrel, not as clean as yesterday’s perfection.

I was out taking photos by mid-morning right at mid-tide, and the sun was starting to get hot so everyone was looking for shade.

This lucky guy found a nice, clean wave that gave him a little bit of cover from the sun.

As you can see on this right, some of the waves had extra peaks here and there, making it hard to find a long ride.

Some guys were focusing on getting the shoulders which were more manageable.

The lefts were throwing some fast, open barrels, and Diego Biral (@diegobiral) was always in the right spot.

Here is some inside shoulder action from Kevin.

It was not as good as yesterday but, this is Nicaragua, and we always have waves, and in Colorado most of the times we have barrels.

Not bad, right? The forecast says that tomorrow it will be better than today, we’ll see!

I’m going to cross my fingers all night because I’m planning to surf a little bit tomorrow, after taking some photos for you, of course. See you tomorrow!
