We have offshore wind, so everybody wants to get a couple waves. Big news: Beach clean-up this saturday, August 18th! Nicaragua is one of the 130 countries participating in the global initiative to clean up the beaches. Glen Campbell along with the vet clinic form PEPO are speardheading the event here in Nicaragua. We're cleaning of several of the beaches in San Juan el Sur area including the main bay in town, Remanso, Marsella, Playones, Maderas, Majagual, Ocotal, etc. Glen will have over 30 divers in the water doing clean up just offshore as well! If you or anyone else wants to participate we'll meet at 9AM on saturday at Scuba Shack in San Juan del Sur (or you can simply go to the beach and pick up some trash). We'll head out from there and clean the beaches until about noon. At 2PM there will be a celebratory BBQ at Iguana Bar for everyone who participated. Thanks so much for your help.
