Hello everybody and welcome to the NSR surf report! This is Parker showing you today’s fun shots. Check it out!
The waves are small and the wind is a touch side shore. The ocean is getting these unfavorable conditions out of the way before the weekend!
Have you met Alex Chapin yet? He runs Scoop and Spokes new Sidebar. He surfs really well and serves even better drinks!
He’s been in the area for a few months now and improved a ton. It’s been fun watching him apply his smooth skating style to his surfing.
Some other rippers were working on launching above the wave. Check out Josh Springfield’s sequence!
While it’s small, you see him perfecting his cuts or popping above the lip. This in another surfer who has exponentially improved his surfing and style!!
Perfect rotation and almost there!! I’m excited to see his trademark pig dog on his new Shapeshifter step up for the next swell.
Have you seen our weekend forecast? We supposed to receive a decent swell. Fingers crossed because everything looks like it should clean up and pan out!!
Normally, Carlos shines in the barrel but he snuck out for a few olitas. Conditions were super rippable and manageable.
And of course he finds the little tubito. If the wave barrels, look closer so you can find him inside of it!
The wind forecast also looks great for the swell. We had to weather a couple hours of side shore but it should be light offshore throughout the weekend!
