There were a lot of waves coming through and the few guys in the water were all around them.
The waves were also kind of soft which made them very friendly for everyone to surf… there were a few older surfers ripping.
And also a few beginners like Sara, who started surfing a not that long ago but had to take a long break because of the run of big swells hitting Nicaragua the last few months. Keep it up Sara!!
The next few days it’s going to be perfect to get the logs and bigger boards out to be able to cruise around the waves.
Or get the fat fish out of the closet to be able to make some turns and fly down the line.
With this conditions, you never stop thinking about the next wave, it’s like you never get satisfy and the fear of missing a good wave because you went on the first one is painful.
Shape wise, I think the waves were great, it was just a matter of being in the right place.
After having such a great run of amazing waves week after week for the last few months, there are surfers that seem kind of lost looking for “bigger” waves up and down the beach without finding any.
If you can’t find good waves or can’t handle the small conditions, the best you can do is to relax, hang out and share with your love ones… until the next swell arrives which, in our case, it shouldn’t take too long. Hasta pronto!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Saturday evening’s surf report from Panga Drops, more specifically “French Fries”. The waves were clean and we had another beautiful golden-hour sunset window.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hola and welcome to the “Take watcha can get Tuesday” surf report. Another day of unfavorable onshore winds and messy conditions. If things don’t go back to normal here soon… I’m definitely writing off 2020 off as my least favorite year since 1973. You hear that 2020! Yes, I’m talking to you!!!! Haaaaa!
