NSR

Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, September 03, 2011

We still have plenty of swell is still in the water, but the conditions were not right for the outer reef.  We decided to hang around one of the very few right point breaks in the whole coast in Nicaragua.  The winds were light onshore in the morning and our session at this point turned out great a super fun.  Check it out!!!

Part of the NSR family owned this point for a little bit more than two hours.  Carlitos Caliente, Pancho Sanchez, El Codo Lopez and my camera had the place all to ourself.  This was the view from up on the hills.

Everyone out there had a blast, El Codo Lopez scored a couple of sweet ones as you can see on this shot.  Codo, Codooo, Codooooo, Codooooooooo!!!

There were some nice sized waves rolling in, and Pancho Sanchez was there ready to charge them.  That one is easily double over head!

We had a few lefts breaking down the beach but we were so stoked riding rights that we didn’t even notice them.  Check out the explosion on that thing.

The tide got lower and lower and the sections start getting gnarly.  Carlitos watching that mutant about to break on his head.  It was a fast section so it as pretty hard to be in the right spot to pull in, plus nobody wanted to get hurt.

Almost by the end of the sesh Toni showed up, paddled out and scored some nice ones as well.  Here he is, just seconds away to get in the barrel section.

On the last action shot of the day we have Carlitos Caliente smacking the lip on this one.  Pretty nice angle, uh!

We’ll still have plenty of swell for the next days, and we’ll see what happen tomorrow. Please keep an eye on us like this guy does!!!
