Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Tuesday friends! We had an amazing day of nice sizable waves, WITH offshore winds and all there fixin’s for hopefully another one of those “September Sessions” kind of seasons. Jump in and get cyber barreled along with those who were out there today!
I often wonder, do “you” our dedicated readers ever get tired of looking at these barrels that Nicaragua is down for???
Well, I highly doubt any of your will say yes, but just in case, here’s one of the sick turns…. after he came out of, yup, you guessed it… another perfect barrel.
I myself like to mix it up with a variation of some of the best turns of the day and the best barrels.
But there are days… literally like today, where I could very seriously make an entire report of 100% just barrel shots.
But then where’s the fun in that, especially when guys are hucking themselves well above the horizon line of where the ocean and the sky line meet. This one was definitely worthy of making the report. And to add to it, this is the same guy from the previous frame and what he did after he came out of his perfect round aqua green cylinder tubo!
This is maybe the most exciting AND critical part of this wave at PC. You only get a second or two to decide if you wanna get inside that growing wind vacuum sounding beast, or barrel dodge it. If I’m there shooting, you’ll be super glad you pulled in!
Because the money shot inside is always better than straightening out…. PLUS you have way better odds of making the report too!
Same scenario but here’s what it’ll look like for you goofy footers out there….
This guy even had a couple front row ticket holders to his jam session!
Check out the grim…. I mean grom reaper! He meant business out there this afternoon and was taking charge in todays pristine conditions.
Perfect back drop, check, perfect backside cutback, check, perfect weather and conditions, check!
Just another fun day of waves in Nica-Land.
It’s been a full and healthy packed season… but it’s far from over.
You can expect to see plenty more of this as September can produce some of the best surf of the entire season!
And if nobody else comes, then it will just look like this. But that’s ok too! The waves will always come no matter what humans decide to do. Welcome back for another week and your Monday surf report, from your’s truly SBS! Another day of onshore winds… I was getting pretty sad as there wasn’t anyone out surfing the few times I checked it. Hey there weekend warriors! We had a truly beautiful tropical day of fun little waves out there today. Electric blue water with moderate offshore winds and not a whole lot of people out surfing, but just enough to give me something to share with you all for a surf report. Enjoy!
