This is “Codo” showing us how it is done. What you do is find little sloped banks in the river and scratch at the holes that the shrimp bury themselves in, then they run out and you stab away, it was definitely a cool way to spend the day. We did a lot of laughing and had a blast.
For our last shot of the day we have “Codo” again, this time he is in a little bit deeper part of the river trying to lure the shrimp out of their holes with a little worm, needless to say he didn’t have very much luck. Please check back with us tomorrow to see what else we can come up with. We are supposed to get a new swell Friday or Saturday and the winds are forecasted to go back offshore. We will wait and see, we are definitely due for some good waves.
RECENT REPORTS
Hi everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell is probably slightly larger today, but it is also much windier.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hi friends, we finally have offshore wind and some swell in the water. We have solid overhead sets coming through and the wether conditions are pretty well. Today we headed out up north to score some good waves. Check out the lineup, do you think we scored?
This is Roberto with the surf report for today. It’s chest to head high on sets out here. Today we head out at north to shot some guys from the states, they hire me for the day and now they are going to get back to their country with a bunch of photos and remenber..
We’ve got junky conditions AGAIN today. Hurricane Rita made landfall, so hopefully, the clearing pattern will start soon. Still, it’s overhead, windy and junky. We’ve got Casa Ensueno sending in some shots from this seldom surfed Right Point break somewhere near Astillero…This looks like Ian from So. Cal. getting in the water anyway.
