We could be looking at the tail end of these prolonged onshore days by Sunday. Forecast is looking good for offshores and swell Sunday into Tuesday.

In the meantime, there were only a handful, literally only about 5 guys out.

One them was this ripper, Aurelio, visiting all the way from Ecuador.

Here is another angle of him cracking it off the top right at noon today.

Half of our local guys have been immersing themselves over in France & Europe, taking a sweet and very well timed vacation.

Of course, someone always has to stay here and man the fort. Jeison, taking one for the team!

Little did you know we have a third wave here in Hacienda Iguanas, it’s called “River Dumps”. Only turns on right around October. It’s a wave that goes back out to sea on the high tides and it can even barrel from time to time, as you can see here!

Looking forward to seeing my new amigo from Ecuador ripping (which he’s already doing) and getting super barreled in the next couple of days!

Looks AND size can be very deceiving at this spot, especially when not many people are out.

Here’s a better scale reference for the size out there today.

Rain water hazel brown was the color on tap after our crazy downpour last night. There are a lot of debris out there in the lineup too, so watch yourself!

Here you can see where the dirty runoff fresh water collides and meets with the clean salty Pacific Blue. Jeison, adding his own water displacement in the foreground for a nice dynamic effect and pretty sick turn!

The local crew out and about while the sun is shining and the weather is GREAT! Thanks for coming by. Come on back again tomorrow to see what it’s looking like. Cheers ~
