
I checked the surf early morning when there was a short break in the rain and the lineup was empty and water a bit chocolatey.

You can see the estuary rushing out into surf in this shot. Still not A-framing, For our river enthusiasts out there. Hahaha.

We had a lot of sand return to the beach previous to the storm, but the Estuary and storm surge has taken a bit of it back into ocean.

The golf course has plenty of extra water hazards too.

I checked back a few hours later and was lucky to find Chris in the water solo.

More of this forecasted for tomorrow. With a little luck the 5th might shape up for us. Check back again tomorrow.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were funky today. The mid-morning and early afternoon windows were best. The wind kicked up onshore in the afternoon and it even rained! You’ll see that there were still a few gems and shreddable waves.
