Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, October 11, 2011

Waves were firing today, THAT"S WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SAY but it wasn't like that.  A huge tropical storm it is hitting Guatemala right now and that's making us lots of rain down here.  We just had the longest rain of the year so far, more than 21 hours straight of rain made lots of disturbs and we are not very happy with that.  A few sank boats, lots of bushes and water everywhere!

The locals were not worried about the weather conditions and jumped out in there.  This is Larry "Carita de Venado" Davila with a cool frontside turn.

We do not want to call our report "The sinking boat report" but we have to throw this peak in.  Victory at sea!!!

The locals were ripping those chocolate things out. This is Gainer "El Tapitas" grabbing his rail to smack this section.

There were some gnarly waves rolling in by the river mouth that nobody was taking.  Oh my god, we just had a few days of sick surf and now we have this.  It is pretty hard to believe.

This is Gerardito about to drop in on what it could be a clean line all the way in.  Check out the Marina in the background about to be covered by the water.

Augusto "La Gaviota" Chamorro was busting a few little airs.  Here he is caught on this one!

We probably are going to stick around the bay for the next few days, if the rain keep doing its thing and the weather stay like this.  Please check back tomorrow!
