Well, it seems the world is coming to an end back in the US. We have an economy in turmoil, the country is dependent on foreign fuel, our budget deficit is the biggest it's ever been, banks are failing left and right, home prices are plunging, you can't get a loan and the government doesn't seem to have a clue about how to lead us out of this mess. I can't even bear to watch the news anymore.
Has there ever been a better time to plan a surf trip to Nicaragua, spend some time in the warm water, catch some waves and clear your head? Or better yet, jut close up shop and move yourself on down for good! Either way, it's important to keep a positive attitude in times like these and there's nothing like a good dose of surf to keep you sane.
After a seemingly endless run of bad news, it always helps to check out past surf photos like this one to remind myself of the "good days" that we've had in the not so distant past. Here is one that Roberto just entered into the Surfline Photo Contest. (click on the photo to view Roberto's other entries)
