Little shoulder to head high drainers came through tempting the few takers who showed up to the beach today.
Speaking of takers, the brothers Espinoza rolled up just as the tide started to drain out.
There’s been a little funky texture on the ocean due to how close the storm that produced this swell has been. Still it’s far enough away to leave us two days in a row of sunny skies and we’ll take these conditions in the off season any day.
Once again Oscar Espinoza was among the first to be on it. Here he is with a little blank canvas.
And he decided to decorate it with a little layback style.
Jayson was on it too. Always love watching this kid surf.
He’s got style for days and a relaxed approach. Plus he’s always smiling.
Buzz got in on the action as well. He came in soon after this wave, stoked on the vibes, throwing shakas!
These seats are usually full all day, but no peanut gallery these days.
Not many barrels today but there were definitely plenty of rippable head high peaks.
