Here at Iguana we went Trick or Treating with the little ones. All the kids and parents dressed up and went around several businesses and houses to get candy. (Sorry, this is the only good photo I took, it was hard taking care of the kids while carrying their candy, their masks, the water bottles plus the camera)
After Trick or Treating everybody went to the Beach Club to enjoy the great weather, and this is what we found.
The tide was getting almost full but that didn’t stop the waves nor the surfers.
The waves were not barreling but they were really good for carving and slashing the faces, throwing massive curtains of water here and there.
The waves were rolling nice, offering different sections at different speed, allowing you to bring on the whole repertoire.
Check out this guy throwing the fins out the back and going for almost a full rotation to finish this ride.
Did I mention that there were some sections? well, sometimes, if you were not ready, those sections cut you off in front of you and that was it for your ride.
Here is another example of those unexpected sections, it was hard to pass those sections, and most of the time everyone just rode it right behind it trying to get back to the front… with little to no success.
Dario has been surfing these waves enough to know how to manage those sections when they appear.
It’s getting late and I need to take my kids back home and wait for their sugar rush to start coming down, and probably crash and madness will take over.
But I’m prepare for the madness! Have a great Halloween everyone!! Come back tomorrow for more surf with Brian Scott (the horse!). Saludos!
