Plenty of clean waves working their way through the lineup this morning, it was 7:30-9am or so that I was shooting so if you were out then I’m guessing you scored because it was looking super fun.
Guys and gals, experts and beginners, everybody was having a sweet time out there as the Ocean provided plenty of wave candy.
As I am writing this the wind is a little cross shore but still looked fun out there and much better then the sloppy mid-day onshore flow that we had for the last few days.
Big Scott finding one of the set wave gems rolling through and getting ready to tuck under that chandelier to get some cover up.
I just got back from the beach doing a quick condition check and spotted these two in action, I took this photo in the morning as they were walking up like 8am to start a day of Lifeguard duty. Well about 2pm they were out saving a group of locals that got swept away in a rip current. Thankfully we have these amazing human beings keeping an eye on the water because they sprung into action and saved that group of lives. Not gonna lie I got a little emotional thinking of what could have happened had we not had these guys ready and willing to put their lives at risk to jump out there and do what they did. Please if you see them at the beach tell them how much they are appreciated and if you have the means to do so donate to Nica Heart Beat or the Barbara Lancaster Memorial fund or just bring them some snacks and some gatorades or something because these guys rock! Thank you Lesther and Oscar Espinoza and the rest of the lifeguard team Carlos, Jeison, and Megan for putting it all together and making our stretch of beach one of the safest around.
Hunter shredding it up out there this morning, the Grom shots always make the waves look bigger, but Big Guy Hunter makes the waves look smaller lol
Make sure to put on plenty of sunscreen especially on your face as the sun is strong out here.. or throw on a hat like this dude. Yeeeww
Okay thank you all for swinging by and checking out a bit of our daily lives down here on the Emerald Coast of Nicaragua. Another beautiful day full of sunshine and fun waves. Easily one of the best places in the world to call home, if you enjoy sunny days, cool people, and tasty waves that is. Adios amigos! See you next time!
RECENT REPORTS
Welcome to 2025 everyone! Happy New Year! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. I basically pulled an all-nighter and woke up early to surf after the late night fiesta. The lineup was empty even at 8:00am and the waves were fun. I surfed then took photos.
