Hello everyone, today we had a strong rain all morning, it went down for several hours straight overflowing all the creeks and rivers in the area.

The commercial area in Hacienda Iguana was one of the driest spots in Hacienda Iguana, and NSR Surf Shop is always open, in case you want to spend your rainy days shopping.

Some areas of the golf course had some issues with the excess of water... you can still sit in some areas without getting your booty wet.

If you are into golf, you can still play but you need to reach expert level first to be able to play under this conditions.

I wouldn't reccommend spend any time at the beach though. The wind has been strong and the amount of debris floating around ca nbe dangerous if yo ugo for a swim.

Surfing anyone? If you stared at the ocean long enough you could find some mind surfable lines but probably really hard to so some real surfing.

All the ditches around Hacienda Iguana were at their maximum level... maybe I should get a shallow water motor boat to have some fun once a year at Iguana.

It was raining, no power in the whole area, the golf course all flooded but this guy was practicing his swing near the green.

The forecast looks rainy and with strong onshore for another week so, find something else to do besides dream surfing with the daily NSR Surf Report, or you can surf our archive of the last 15+ years of really good surfing in Nicaragua. Enjoy!
