The rights were firing today, bomb after bomb coming through like a train, fast and powerful.
This kid was getting lots of waves, going for the barrels every time.
The water was clear and the waves hollow… and many got trapped inside its cave.
Gustavo only went for the big sets… big, late drops directly to the barrel.
Darwin Jacamo was out there too, getting some fine rides under the lip.
Some of the tourists were having issues trying to figure out the waves today. You have to be quick!
There is nothing better to watch your friends cheering you up when you are going big with a late, air drop.
But there is nothing more frustrated to watch your friend eat $hit on a perfect right.
Once in a while appeared a big but soft A-frame that was more user friendly on the take off.
The direction of this swell is hitting First peak wierd, the waves were considerably smaller over there, and only one boogieboarder was there.
I was away from the Surf report for more than a month because I was in Managua waiting for this little guy, my 3rd kid, and today Noa Santiago is turning 1 month old and he is loving it! Wink wink!
Expect a lot more waves tomorrow, Bryan Scott will bring the report from Colorado beach, just 10 minutes South of Santana. And if the waves are too big, there is also good fishing too! Saludos!
RECENT REPORTS
Happy Friday everyone! This evening’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops. The wind dropped out and the waves kinda turned on right at sunset.
