Rowan chose an open face cutback to open the wave. Cutbacks and roundhouses were good choices on the smaller waves as it was really soft today.

He gave it his best attempt and nearly busted through the whitewater while controlling Jett's board. I remember there was a time a couple of years ago where Rowan was just learning to duckdive. Now he looks like a little instructor out there! Not only in control of his board, but controlling an extra board through breaking waves back into the lineup. Kids can improve rapidly at their age when they are serious and passionate about the sport.

Rowan eventually bailed on Jett's board, but was kind enough to tolerate Jett jumping on his back to hitch a ride in. What they didn't anticipate was Rio coming in hot!

Smiles all around for the three amigos. It goes to show that if you get these boys in the water together with boards, then there is bound to be laughter and entertainment. Kids always bring novelty to what seem like mundane conditions. Lucky for me I got to capture their escapades today! The only thing more entertaining is being in the lineup trading off waves with them. Tomorrow looks like the last tiny day, then we get a bump from the swell. Hasta manana.

Hey everyone back here with another surf report!! I was out there around noon today shooting these photos not many people out but the waves are getting bigger since a swell is coming super fun tho i went out there caught a few and enjoying the day in the water.
