NSR always do the best to help out Nicaraguan’s communities.  During the last 3 years Lucha’s family and NSR has been supporting bunch of kids with food, drinks, toys and some clothes during the Christmas Holidays.  This year we want to make everyone of you guys part of this mission, let’s join efforts and make this come true.  Last year we provided supplies to more than 150 kids, this year we want to take the goal over 200 kids but we need your help to make this possible.  Make your donation to [email protected] via paypal, every dime would make a huge different on making all the kids happy.  Thanks for your help!!!

Welcome to another surf report from down here in Nicaragua.  Waves were still small today, but there were many fun little nuggets rolling in and the crowd was a little light compared to the days before.  It was running about knee to waist high on sets with strong offshore winds and the water was chilly.  Check it out!!!

As we said before the crowd was lighter than the last few days, but there were still many people hanging around.  Here is a cool shot of the scene we had on the beach.  The green is still there but it’s gonna be gone soon, as the summer comes.

The waves were pretty small, pretty good size, form and conditions to take the big boards out and that’s exactly what a lot of people did.  This is Ricky “El Riquitiquitiqui” Ticky picking up a nice little nugget.

Baldo showed out to the beach with his longboard as well, thinking about to throw all his longboard skills out.  Here he is caught styling on this right.

We met a few cool guys on the beach this afternoon.  How about Bob chilling like a Billy, like a Bob dealing with penicillin.  That’s life down here, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

We never thought to find this picture before but we luckily did.  Jeremiah “El Chewy” Mattews, shaved and 10 years younger.  Watch out with that guy in the background Chewy, he looks pretty hungry!

A couple of shortboarders made it out and did their best to have fun.  This is La Aguadita dropping into one of the better set waves of the day.

Hey Baldo, this is how is done.  Jose “El Corage” Hernadez with a sick hang five ride on this left.  This local boy has improved his longboard skills pretty fast and we guess it’ll be pretty hard to take him down.

Even when the waves are not firing, Playa Maderas is always a nice beach to visit and relax.  Please stay tuned with us!
