Mr. Josh racing behind the decks and about to mix it up if he can get ahead of that lipper. Btw, some of that verbiage was DJ related if you couldn’t tell, cause that’s also what Josh (aka DJ Adrenal) does when the sun goes down. Feel free to check out some of his coloaborative stuff@sharedrhythms
For the 4 or 5 guys out, this is what they were sharing off and on until that sun melted into the deep blue.
But before then, the golden hour was quite the… well… golden hour. Superb!
Mikey doing his best Hasselhoff/Bay Watch impression. But he’s not just glancing off into the sunset like an actor… he actually see something worthy of his running.
Ahhhhhh, it was none other than Hot Carl making this super rad floater! Ya brother, sikkk move!
Of course, that got Mikey all fired up and he paddled right out and busted this one off!
Mis amigos, Fernando and Danai. Always happy, always surfing together and always smiling! What a great couple of little surfer lovebirds. Glad to have you here guys!!!
You know what today is….. 97% waxing moon. That’s what. Not quite the full deal, yet. But tomorrow….Tomorrows’ the day for the full monty!
aaaaaand if you were to look opposite side of that last direction of the 97% Full moon…. you would be graced by these atmospheric beautys!!! All cotton candy and deliciously pink, like you could just eat it!
The 3 amigos. Literally! Three super cool NSR fans I met briefly. I’m hoping we can intervene once again later this week when the swell picks up a little more.
I missed Ricky-dogs’ super killer left earlier in the day because I hadn’t made it down quite yet to shoot. This pic doesn’t even give him any justice of his true surfing abilities, as in, he used to surf Pipe back in day, like real deal, back in the day. But needless to say, he’s having fun sliding into a little shampoo right just as the sun was setting on his magic LB single fin.
I’m so glad Caliente Jefe came out to play in the last sunlight hours of the day. This is what he was blessed with for making the paddle out with the last 45 or so min of light.
Just starting to make the double hand drag stall and, yes, he did pull into a nice fat little PC kegger with an awesome view I can imagine. Unfortunately, my camera decided to stop firing due to the low light situation, which with the next couple of frames would have been epic to see; but my eyes can attest, the rest was just as good if not even BETTER!
Low light equals = packin’ it up OR, stay for a couple more to see what the slow shutter technique will offer up for you.
Here’s Mikey’s last wave and any last sequence of the day. Not a bad last hour of surfing. Not at all!!!! Thanks guys for giving me some fun content today!
RECENT REPORTS
Merry Christmas everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. This evening’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops. Today definitely had its moments, but the windows were difficult to hit.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hola NSR friends, welcome to the second Monday of December… which means Christmas is around the corner and everyone should be asking Santa to bring us all good waves and great sessions throughout the 2019.
