So, on a really cool side note for the day… Nica Heart Beat held a free CPR review at Casa Colorados today. Ventura County Lifeguard Christian Bennett was on hand to review CPR skills and introduce new lifesaving equipment NHB has brought down. They also had an AED simulated device so that everyone there could practice how to use one.

Although This was NOT a certificated lifesaving course. NHB was offering this opportunity to practice so that you would know what to do if someone (family member, child, client) were to need CPR (choking, drowning, cardiac arrest...) We do have one of the heaviest beach breaks in the region and all it takes is a second for someone to need some much needed assistance.
