I went early in the morning on the dawn patrol at there was already 4 people in the water at Panga Drops (nobody was at Colorado).
Everyone is excited for this new pulse that is coming right for Christmas, which also brings new fish to the area and all the boats are dropping their nets overnight and lifting them in the morning in hopes of getting their Christmas presents.
Looks like here at Panga Drops Christmas is already here, bringing plenty of nice long rides that will put big smiles on everyone.
Shortboards or longboards it doesn’t matter, you will be able to unwrapped many presents in the next few days.
Most of the rights were a little bit shorter than the lefts this morning but it just the beginning of the swell so many it will change to better rights tomorrow.
I was expecting more size this morning so I brought a shortboard instead of a longboard… well, I’ll have to come back later today.
Some of the sets were throwing some good looking rights that everyone was enjoying.
Kenny was one of them with his 10’2″ softtop, it was just the perfect board for these conditions, taking off early without any complications.
And flying down the line like on Aladdin’s magic carpet. Merry Christmas Kenny!
Throughout the day we’ll start seen the pulse of the swell coming in, and probably tomorrow will be a couple of feet bigger. Crossing fingers!!
For now you just have to go do some last minute shopping or wrap all the presents until tomorrow’s surf report. Happy Holidays everyone!!
