Yuji was one of the few guys out. A deep bottom turn with good body mechanics from Yujer here.

There was a fair mix of lefts and rights today. I'd argue that the lefts were slightly better and more consistent.

Ah yes. Spring break is here. Lesther demonstrated why he is one of the lifeguards here this morning. I'd say he handled the situation professionally.

Here is one of a few youngsters that found out about the overall drift from the swell energy, as well as one of the infamous Colorados rip currents. It wasn't a super strong rip, but Lesther made the fair call to head out and make sure they got back to shore smoothly.

Luckily Lesther was able to help the straggler of the three fellas in. They would've *probably* made it without his assistance. But it was clear the one guy was struggling a bit. As a firm believer in for-profit, market based solutions, I wish / hope these guys (who were rescued) threw Lesther a bone or offered to buy him lunch or dinner. It's not very reasonable to expect people to sit around all day waiting to save by-standers for free. The incidence of lifeguarding expenses should fall on those who desire or demonstrably use the service. It isn't reasonable to expect capable swimmers and surfers to subscribe to a service they don't directly use or desire. #readRothbard

When it's waist high you can still find shade on a boogeyboard though!

Mariana hucked herself over the ledge into this frothy left. Some people like the rip, others not so much.

You can tell there is a lot of sand moving around based on the water color and shifting rips out there.

Hi everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were smaller today, but it was definitely clean and fun this AM.

Happy Hump Day of the week folks! Well, the winds switched back to going offshore nuclear today and it was relentless. Not many people out braving the extreme “If your board fly’s back and hits you in the head, you might die” that strong of winds today. So with local knowledge, I had a pretty..
