Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s mid-afternoon surf report from Colorados. The wind came onshore mid-morning, but after a rain shower we lucked out with some still wind. It wasn’t very consistent, but the sets were sick when they came through. Look how thick the lips were on the sets / double-ups!

I watched the waves turn on and turn off all in the span of about 40 minutes haha. It has been challenging to hit the windows recently.

He's very good at predicting exactly what the barrel section / lip will do.

Because he can accurately anticipate how far ahead the lip will pitch, he can put himself as deep as possible.

The pictures make it look like it was wave after wave. But it wasn't as consistent as it looks. And it would randomly hit different parts of the sandbar. Never in the same spot consecutively.

This boogeyboarder might be the best one I've seen in about a year here. He projected way up and out with this crazy roll. He stuck it and looked totally unfazed.

The sets were thick and hefty when they came and sucked up on the sandbar. The high-tide killed the power though. Tomorrow looks like it could be hectic size and onshore wind, but let's see what Tony Z captures.
