The crowd was very thin at sunset as I think most people, myself included are fairly worn out. It's been pretty heavy the past couple of days.

This young goofy-footer had this middle peak left to himself. He got a few nice visions and attempts in the last hour of light.

Schwappah! A sharp rotation that nearly caused his rail to bog. He managed to ride through this snap though.

The North peak rights weren't really that consistent this swell, as this swell had more South. There were still a few up there, like this one, if you were patient.

The South peak closer to the rivermouth is where most of the energy was unwinding. I usually despise surfing that peak, but even I have to admit it was pretty epic there the past few days as so much sand is pulled out and the bars are good.

I feel bad as I forgot this guy's name even though he's been here for a few months. This was probably the best wave I've seen him get since he's been here. A legit quality set wave.

He outpaced the barrel, but he still did the right thing to grab rail and give it a look. His posture looked pretty good, just hard to stall backside if you take the drop without pig-dogging.

The grom flying high. I bet he had a good time this evening practically surfing by himself.

Yuji was the last surfer out this evening. He was patient at the South peak looking for big rights. He found them, but didn't quite get the exits. He weaved through this one for a while, but it ultimately outpaced him. You can see the low-light conditions definitely tested the ISO and aperture features haha.

One more bomba for Yu-chan. It's been really fun pushing myself with the younger crew here recently over the past few days.

Well amigos, it was another epic day! The surf is supposed to chill out *some*, but not be tiny for the next three days. Then Sunday we are back off to the race. Surfline's forecast is looking good. I expect this run of slightly later season swell to continue since July and August were poor form by most accounts haha. We gotta get paid what the ocean owes us, eh? Hasta manana.

PANGA DROPS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday evening’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell height and interval were both notably higher today. So much so that most of the action was at the middle-peak, with less happening at the sandbars. Asher with a stylish entry on an outside right bomb.
