This is further down the line on the opening frame's wave. The surfer didn't make the drop, but he did give it a look! There were some thick ones this evening on the sets.

This guy's paddle line wasn't bad, but the shallow sandbars combined with outward flowing rip-currents made for very steep drops.

There was a crew on it this evening, but still some empty sets as it was hard to be appropriately positioned due to the currents and shifty peaks.

A little trigger happy on the jump here! He should've held on somewhat longer in my opinion. There are risks associated with delaying the dismount, but this was premature IMO.

Hey everyone, welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were actually pretty epic for off-season today. Most of the shredders had already exited for lunch break when I showed up with the camera though. You’ll still get a rough sense of the quality of surf though.
