First peak at Santana was working really good but the wind was blowing kinda hard today, making it a little difficult.
You can see how windy it was today here on this photo… with days like this, it’s very common to see late drops that go nowhere.
The right was working fine too, it was actually a little more forgiven than the lefts at first peak.
Check out the right from a better angle, not bad at all!
As I mentioned the last time I did the report from Santana a few weeks ago… Santana it’s a offseason wave.
And the local surfers are ready for the offseason.
For the last 3 years that I’ve been doing the surf report, I’ve seen these guys getting better by the minute!
On most of the turns you can see buckets of water flying out the back of the waves.
I forgot to bring cash to buy fresh lobsters for tonight’s dinner! 🙁
Santana’s wedge getting destroyed by this local surfer.
After a massive barrel right after the take of, he went for the smaller second barrel on the inside.
If you will be around the Tola area, don’t forget to come check out Santana beach, you won’t regret it! Buenas noches!
