Somewhere in Nicaragua
Buenos días damas y caballeros! Got up super early this morning to try and get down there to see how the rights and the morning light was going to be working for the day and it turned out to be a pretty awesome morning, both lighting and surf-wise!
Only a small group of Pangas regulars were out, but the tide was still pretty full. Roger getting on it early and finding some nice morning gems, like this one.
Jack, one of the longest running surfers to surf this spot built his house or I should say had one of the first of the very few homes on the beach front lots here in Hacienda Iguana….. way back before people were only coming to surf and not to live.
PC’s looked like it had some juice. Might have to go check that out later! Juicy and clean without the pulp!
I recently posted some shots on my personal IG page, trying to get everyone pumped up for the upcoming season. Someone posted, “Yeah Good waves & all the crowds that come with it” haha all I could do is laugh, because I’ve been coming here since 2004 and moved here indefinitely since 2012 and I would throw down $1000 bucks if someone can chime in and sell me on a surf spot that has as many empty days as we have here with equally decent to completely EPIC days consecutively year round. You just ain’t gonna find it. . . . pero buena suerte!
Some pretty good size swell out there today, and it even looked like there was some combo west mixed in with some wide swinging lefts out there.
However, the rights were the best, at least at PD’s. That shot way down at Colorados earlier, you can see the lefts were firing though!
Only about 3 guys left out there with whole playing field to themselves. Looks super crowded to me. Jajajaja!

Welcome to the Saturday surf report friends. Today we had some 3-4 ft range swell in the water with nice offshores (not too strong which is nice) and the water temps are still trunkable and nice.
