Yes, I said winds! This wave is a magnet for our offshore winds.
Good thing this guy is out on a BIG panga surfing the moniker of a said same wave.
Give me a “CYBER” wave if you know where these little shin knockers are located. A lot of people don’t even know these things exist at this break. Watch ya fins and ya shins!
Always good to see my amigos back for another season. Welcome back to Nica, Leo and Fernando and crew! Lets get some of this upcoming swell!!!
After I snapped this little gem, I thought I might have a nice little keeper for the report. Later upon culling my shots for the report, I realized it looked very reminiscent of some footage I took years ago at Honolua bay, back when I used to go to Maui to film back in the day.
Be honest, what caught your eye first, the bird or that little rampy, air section???
I think I know what caught Kevin’s eye.
Tonight, there was quite the little crowd at this spot. But I’d have to say I give the talent pool win to the local kids. They were ripping!!!
Justifiably so with stuff like this all afternoon.
When the surf is good and the surfing is even better, its always good to have your big lens pointed in the direction of the waves. You’re always bound to catch something phenomenal.
Here’s a 1-2-3 look at Lesther giving an impromptu clinic to one of the best technicians in the business here in Nicaragua.
WhaaaaaaBAMMMM!!
Finished off with one more for good measure. You likey Mr Cortez. You guys just keep pushing each other. I’ll be snapping away amigos!
Lesther’s little brother Oscar can keep up with the rest of em sometimes depending on the day well above the talent level. His barrel skills are unreal…. just you wait and see this upcoming Big Wave season.
Even the younger guns are improving daly.
Kevin can do this maneuver in his sleep…. actually I take that back, he can do probably most of his maneuvers in his sleep as his muscle memory is like something from a Bionic Man episode or something.
With wave like this all day long, it’s no wonder the kids here get so good so quickly!
Oscar, with a nice clean power carve on a really mediocre day here in Nica-Land.
Kevin Cortez, YES he is SUPER!!!
Always good to see my buddy and consummate home builder/creator Wayne out threading the needle on a semi crowded day.
We had some beautiful Hawaiian looking water colors today; but it definitely wasn’t Hawaii water temps.
Lesther with one more sick little inside cracker to finish off our fun little session today!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were really fun this morning. This week should be the best we’ve had in some time.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hello to all our friends tuning in today! This is Eric with an update direct from the beach this Friday afternoon. Good waves coming thru and almost nobody in the water today!
