Hey there boys and girls… Welcome back for the Saturday surf report. We have waves, we have winds and we have a little bit of everything in-between at the playa today, so let’s go check it out shall we!
Yes, I said winds! This wave is a magnet for our offshore winds.
Good thing this guy is out on a BIG panga surfing the moniker of a said same wave.
Give me a “CYBER” wave if you know where these little shin knockers are located. A lot of people don’t even know these things exist at this break. Watch ya fins and ya shins!
Always good to see my amigos back for another season. Welcome back to Nica, Leo and Fernando and crew! Lets get some of this upcoming swell!!!
After I snapped this little gem, I thought I might have a nice little keeper for the report. Later upon culling my shots for the report, I realized it looked very reminiscent of some footage I took years ago at Honolua bay, back when I used to go to Maui to film back in the day.
Be honest, what caught your eye first, the bird or that little rampy, air section???
I think I know what caught Kevin’s eye.
Tonight, there was quite the little crowd at this spot. But I’d have to say I give the talent pool win to the local kids. They were ripping!!!
Justifiably so with stuff like this all afternoon.
When the surf is good and the surfing is even better, its always good to have your big lens pointed in the direction of the waves. You’re always bound to catch something phenomenal.
Here’s a 1-2-3 look at Lesther giving an impromptu clinic to one of the best technicians in the business here in Nicaragua.

Lesther’s little brother Oscar can keep up with the rest of em sometimes depending on the day well above the talent level. His barrel skills are unreal…. just you wait and see this upcoming Big Wave season.
Even the younger guns are improving daly.
Kevin can do this maneuver in his sleep…. actually I take that back, he can do probably most of his maneuvers in his sleep as his muscle memory is like something from a Bionic Man episode or something.
With wave like this all day long, it’s no wonder the kids here get so good so quickly!

We had some beautiful Hawaiian looking water colors today; but it definitely wasn’t Hawaii water temps.
