Because of the full moon’s big tides, the A-frame peaks were pretty good for a short time every day.
But most of the time you could find plenty of space to ride the shoulders.
As always, there were some steep drops, and what can you do after one? a big stylish bottom turn of course.
And after the bottom turn you can dig the rail right at the top for a strong carve.
Also you can hit the lip, get those fins out and have a air drop back into the wave.
After that first top turn there was usually a long wall to do whatever you wanted to do.
How about a little barrel right after the take off? Santana is a fun wave!
Today he went finless on these Beater… I think he’s been watching a lot of Who is J.O.B!
Way to go Byron! keep practicing and keep having fun every day!
Looks like the swell will be dropping and the wind will pick up again in the next few days, crossing fingers it doesn’t get that bad! Cheers!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Friday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The size and consistency actually declined today, contrary to what was forecasted. There were still a few corners to be had though. The wind was also light this evening.
