PLAYA COLORADO
Hello World! Welcome back to the daily surf report here on the Emerald Coast of Nicaragua. We are preparing for another hurricane this weekend that may affect us in a negative way with wind and what not but it’s Thursday and it hasn’t begun to affect us yet, this morning at low tide we had some awesome waves. Check it out!
Lots of tubes and not a whole lot of surfers out this morning meant that everyone was scoring
That moment before the barrel when you think hmmm should I stall and get the shampoo or stand up pump to the corner and smash the lip.. ah what a beautiful moment in time
Important info in the foreground, if you have a doubt.. don’t go out. Most visitors here don’t have to worry much about that as they are seasoned surfers but please do remember the ocean can be dangerous and rip currents can form quickly so keep an eye on those who may not have that swimming experience

Highlight shot of the day! I didn’t get any photos of Lesther surfing this morning as he was getting out as I was showing up but he’s gotten lots and lots of photos throughout the years here on SurfNSR surf report because the dude freakin’ shreds! He’s a super chill guy always smiling and enjoying life. Nice to have cool people like him as part of this community and you never know.. one day he may just be the one rescuing your life out there in the water as he is one of the Volunteer lifeguards here. Shoutout to Lesther! Keep being you brother!

Welcome to the Tuesday surf report. Today that new swell came in, but it was a bit weird and wild out there with some big walled up sets and some really gray moody weather without much sun. But I was lucky to find some surfers out in the afternoon. Come check it out!
