The waves came from different directions making the conditions kinda of messy, but still with plenty of push to have a great session.
It was hard to read the waves between the strong offshore and the cross swell hitting the beach.
The few barrels that opened enough for surfers to tried, were chandeliering right in front of them and only the more trained (or luckiest) survived after them.
On smaller between-sets waves, those chandeliers became new peaks breaking in front of you, which gave many opportunities to finish the ride with a great move.
But of course, there are always waves that open nicely every so often, that offer plenty of opportunities for a great ride. This is a great example – Pic 1
Pic 2: High and in full rotation mode.
Pic 3: Reverse ride right after a smooth landing.
After redirect the surfboard and regain speed, he went for a powerful cutback.
And then continue with a few snaps off the lip of the wave all the way to the sand.
Another great looking wave among the messy conditions… and this guy is aiming for something big…
It sucks when this happen…you’re focus and ready do hit the lip in a marvelous way, but then, right at that moment, you remembered that you should have bought a brand-new bar of wax at theNSR Surf Shopthe first day. Don’t let this happen to you, come check out the Shop!
That’s all for today surfers of the world, come back tomorrow for more lovely surf photos from Nicaragua.
