It was consistently head high with sets a touch over. If you aren’t 6’5″, that means perfect barrels! Judging by the forecast, my time is coming.
Normally, October brings onshore winds from frequent rains and hurricanes in the Atlantic. If you scored from Joaquin and still have tube fever, make a quick trip to our backyard!
The north peak was going off and producing killer rights. Even between sets, surfers tucked in to these gems.
Same shredding Carlos but a new attitude and haircut. It’s good to be cracking jokes with you again in the line up buddy!
Today is the last day for Don’s crew in the NSR Beach House and man are they getting some good ones! It’s been awesome having y’all here, roasting pigs, and hanging out all day (when I’m not on the clock…). See you guys next year!
After watching this guy’s wave, I understand why Codo tells me to stretch more and try yoga… keep scrolling down.
I guess he’s has a point: loose legs help you regain your balance and board. Then, you’ll be pulling into those previously unmakeable waves
Looking at the long term forecast, we will have a few weeks of great swell. Even though the Santana Clinic is professional and capable, be safe out there!
The uncontested south peak was making some decent stomach high nuggets.
And the leftover wave made a nice corner to blow your fins out!
The mid day sessions are tough due to the strong sun and water’s reflection. However, if you want to avoid it, give the next wave a hand drag and enjoy the shade.
