The waves were playing hard to get but they had potential, it was a matter of being fast to stay in front of the wave.
A dark cloud with loud thunders was threatening to become a big storm but turned out to be just a small drizzle.
Because of the weather and probably also because of the small conditions, there were only 4 guys in the water, which meant that we had many empty waves coming through.
The surfers were having trouble keeping enough speed to have longer rides, at least on most of the waves.
You can’t tell on the photos but it was drizzling the whole time I was at the beach taking photos.
With the last few rains in combination with the tides, the beach has being full of all kind of debris.
It makes me sad to see all these plastic laying on the sand, but it’s great to see so many beach cleanups organized by the communities in most of the beaches in the area. Please get involve or pick up trash on your own.
A beautiful empty wave waiting for someone to take her… soon there will be many of you getting barreled here with us.
In the mean time there is only one thing to do: sit still, enjoy the breeze and wait for the best time to do your surf vacation in Nicaragua! Cheers!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for next set of days. Monday’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops, specifically “French Fries”. The swell was close to non-existent, but Pangas did its magic and magnified the lackluster size into something playful and shreddable.
